Matthew (Matt) J. Altick is a Partner and Managing Attorney of The Altick Law Group. In his role, Matt handles a wide variety of areas including Business Law, Labor and Employment, Corporate Law, Contracts, Real Estate and Sports/Entertainment Law.
Matt attended the University of Dayton School of Law, where he served as the Executive Treasurer to the Student Bar Association. Matt also was the President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and the President of the Second Amendment Law Society. Matt graduated from Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in International Business, with minors in marketing and sports management. Throughout his time in law school, Matt worked for a variety of different firms and organizations in both Dayton, Ohio and his hometown of Dallas, Texas. In Ohio, Matt had a wide range of practice areas including wills and estates, contracts, social media law, business law, and family law. He also volunteered at the VA where he helped veterans with different areas of law such as contracts, family, and landlord-tenant law. In Dallas, Matt has worked for boutique firms and has served as in-house counsel for a real estate company.
A native of Dallas, and currently residing in Plano, Texas, Matt loves being in the greater north Dallas area. Outside of work, Matt enjoys watching and attending sporting events (Go Pokes!, Rangers, Cowboys, Stars and Mavs), golfing, fishing, cooking, traveling (all 50 states and 26 countries), and spending time with family and friends. You can also find him with his wife at most restaurants as he loves trying new places and frequenting his favorite spots.
